"Aim for the main stage!" Last year's ROOKIE A GO-GO performers compete for a chance to perform in FRF'16 and the winning artists are confirmed!
The winner is finally confirmed!
"FRF '16 Aim For the Main Stage!" is a project that all of you help to decide which artist from last year's ROOKIE A GO-GO performers get the chance to play on one of this year's main stages such as Green Stage, White Stage and Red Marquee.
The first round of voting took place at the festival last year, and the second round was held online this March on our official site. So many of you voted and there was a significant increase in the total ballots compared to last year. Thank you so much for your support!!
Coming in first place for both the first and second round of votings, and the winner to perform at this year's Fuji Rock is a new generation mixture rock band in their early twenties who just released their first single this April, SABANNAMAN!!!
Their performance will be on July 24th (Fri)! Look forward for more information on which stage they'll be playing at.

We were able to win from the Rookie stage last year and perform again this year at FUJI ROCK! Thank you so much for voting for SABANNAMAN! This is such a momentum for us, it is the 20th anniversary of Fuji and the band we respect and love so much, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS are also going to be there. We are truly grateful to love music and to have been able to continue on with our band. We're going to have a blast! Please come and see us on stage.
