FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '16 | Lineup

Our previous announcement confirmed the headliners and summer can't come soon enough! Eleven more artists both domestic and international have now been added to the lineup, some very familiar to Fuji and some performing for the first time!

James Blake who took the world by storm right after his debut and quickly became the artist of the time is coming back to Fuji Rock! It's been four years since his last performance at Fuji Rock in 2012 when he showed Japan a mind blowing performance. Don't miss this young genius who has no doubt evolved over the years!

With a highly anticipated new album after seven years, Trashcan Sinatras, a powerhouse of independent pop are back. And Big Willie, a regular at Fuji Rock whose burlesque shows are always a huge hit, will be back with Jump With Joey, a ska-based band mixing jazz. latin and blues! Ndagga Rhythm Force; a project produced by legendary figure from the electronic music scene Mark Ernestus with Senegalese musicians, introducing a world of cutting edge dub!

Also confirmed is Ken Yokoyama, who continues to create and express at the pinnacle of the punk rock scene, as well as Man With A Mission, who continue to gain momentum as they tour overseas. Ego-Wrappin' welcome their 20th anniversary and The Birthday are confirmed to perform for the sixth time at Fuji Rock - so many artists who represent Japan will gather!

Bo Ningen, a London-based psychedelic rock band founded by four Japanese musicians will be back. Up and coming new artist Wanima, and one of the foremost exponents of the deep house scene in East Asia, Soichi Terada will both be performing at Fuji Rock for the first time!
