The "Bob Gruen and 100 Rock Legends" photo exhibition will be taking place thanks to the special relationship with the Fuji Rock Festival!

This summer welcomes the world of internationally known rock n' roll photographer, Bob Gruen. This exhibition will celebrate his Japanese publication release of, "Rock Seen" and will feature photos from 100 legendary rock artists such as last year's Noble Peace Prize winner, Bob Dylan, New York's punk scene leader, Patti Smith, the father of punk, Johhny Thunders, punk's secondary London punk scene artists, The Clash and The Sex Pistols.

As many legendary rock artists such as Prince David Bowie, Chuck Berry amonst others leave this world, Bob Gruen's photographs keeps the legends alive by portraying them in their prime during their scene. Be sure to check out this exhibition while it's in town.

Bob Gruen's photo book, "ROCK SEEN"

The Japanese publication release for Bob Gruen's photo book, ""Rock Seen"" is confirmed! Internationally known rock n' roll photographer, Bob Gruen has photographed numerous rock n' roll legends such as, John Lennon, Led Zeppelin, The Sex Pistols and many many more. This photo book is a collection of many of Bob's favorite photos of various artists across the long history of his career and also includes behind the scenes photos showing private images of rock n' roll legends off stage as well as on stage. Each page is not only an excellent recording of musical history but they also share a love that can only be captured through the eyes of Bob Gruen.
The Japanese publication also features a special bonus 16 page feature of the ""Fuji Rock"" scene taken by Bob Gruen himself.


One of the Rock n' Roll's most well known photographer. Starting his career from shooting Ike and Tina Turner's live perfromances to becoming John Lennon and Yoko Ono's private photographer, Bob's photographs had quickly gained popularity by capturing images of musical legends which also included Led Zeppelin, Elton John, Kiss, Alice Cooper and many more legendary rock musicians. During the 70's Bob was the chief photographer for Rock Scene Magazine where he also went on tour with many young punk and new wave bands such as The New York Dolls, Sex Pistols, The Clash, Ramones, Patti Smith Group and Blondie. It was duirng those tours that he was able to capture many behind the stage images of the musical scene of that time. Bob Gruen has been shooting and collecting photographs of the rock scene for over 40 years to date.
