FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '17 | Lineup

The Gorillaz will be making their first ever appearance at Fuji Rock Festival this summer! With the announcement of their new album, the first in seven years, the "virtual" artist is the center of attention around the world. Don't miss their first ever performance at Naeba!

This announcement of the three headliners; Aphex Twin, Bjork and Gorillaz makes for an exciting and stimulating top of the bill. Check these other artists from both inside and outside Japan now slated to play at Fuji!

The Australian rock band, Jet is back after breaking up once in 2012. While fans await their return to Japan, the band will appear at Fuji Rock this summer! Solitary singer songwriter Ron Sexsmith, experamental hip hop band Death Grips, the New Orleans born hard edge funk band Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue are all now confirmed to perform this summer!

Don't miss these newcomers confirmed to perform at Fuji such as; ARCA, the eccentric genius who made his name by producing such artists as Bjork and FKA Twigs among others who will make his first ever appearance at Fuji Rock alongside visual artist Jesse Kanda; the LA based alternative R&B singer Gallant; and up and coming singer songwriter Day Wave; and more!

Domestic artists confirmed to perform include rock bands such as; The Back Horn, The Novembers, 10-Feet; The fin., who performed at the Rookie Stage at Fuji in the past and Yogee New Waves!

Also making their first time appearance at the festival are The Golden Cups, an indispensable part of 60's Japanese rock history. And don't miss Takkyu Ishino who has played at Fuji more then any other artist!
