Ninth Artist Announcement!

Golden Week is over and its time to start making plans for the summer. Check out the Ninth Artist Announcement and don't forget ticket sales start tomorrow.

On day one, July 24th (fri), we'll see the return of two Japan loving bands to Naeba. Ash has been coming to Japan since their debut gaining popularity at each step. They will be coming back this time with their newest album, their first in 8 years! Joining them will be Owl City after a sold out Japan tour and a summer release. Domestic artist include Tokiko Kato who is celebrating her 50th year career this year and her sixth performance at Fuji Rock, playing with her daughter, Yae's band Love Farmers. Also added to the bill is Charanporantan, sister duo gaining acclaim domestic and international, Kazuyoshi Saito and Tatsuya Nakamura's rockn' roll group, MANNISH BOYS and captivating three piece band, Petrolz who will be performing for their first time at Fuji Rock.

Day two, July 25th (Sat) will feature Canadian rock & blues guitarist Philip Sayce. Don't miss his emotional and dynamic guitar performance. Kicell, two brothers who celebrated their 15th year last year with their unique soaring music will be joined by the peaceful performance of Caravan, who have not wavered style since their beginning. Other acts include Rize who have continue to overwhelm the heavy rock scene, UK House Dance duo Gorgon City, rising Japanese track maker Banvox, next generation's iconic musician Ksuke as well as young promising domestic artists who are paving the way for EDM in Japan.

The final day, July 26th (Sun) will welcome back Takkyu Ishino, a Fuji Rock Veteran who has played at Fuji more than any other artist. The Koxx, a five piece band from our neighboring country Korea will be playing for their first time at Fuji along with Toe, a band that has surpassed the boundaries of post rock. Finally, Manic Sheep from the indie scene of Taiwan who performed last year at Rookie a Go-Go has been voted back to perform once again at Fuji.
