[ Showtime: Midnight ] bjork: biophilia live

"biophilia live" is a concert film that captures the human element of Bjork's multi-disciplinary multimedia project, Biophilia, recorded live at Bjork's show at London's Alexandra Palace in 2013.

"Biophilia" is Bjork's eith studio album created in collaboration with app creators, scientists, writers, musicians and instrument producers. A vast multi media project, the work explores space and its physics and the chance encounters of nature and technology. The work explores the themes of "How does music exist in a space, how does it physically move through that space, and how does it interact with the universe?" and brought critical acclaim of its use of custom made instruments such as the "Gravity Harp" which uses gravity to pluck its strings, the "Gamelest" which combined a gamelan and celesta, and the "Singing Tesla Coil" - a large transformer, along with an womans choir from Iceland. Perfect for those who missed the sold out Biophilia performances in Japan.

The long loved Otoko wa Tsuraiyo series stars Kiyoshi Atsumi as "Tora-san" a kind-hearted vagabond who's always unlucky in love.

Tora-san returns to his hometown, Shibamata, after a twenty year absence. After a short welcome, Tora-san ruins his sister's chance at marriage and once again hits the road. In Nara, Tora-san meets and falls in love with with a young woman named Fuyuko. Tora-san and Fuyuko return to Tokyo and continue to live as a couple and while Sakura, Tora-san's sister, finally finds love, Tora-san's relationship with Fuyuko proves to be fleeting...
